Props to LCRC

Our team played at the Lucas County Rec Center this past weekend for the Preseason Classic. When our schedule first came out and I saw we had games at LCRC I just shook my head and wished we didnt have to. Anybody that has been there in years past know what I am talking about.

To my very suprise they complex looked GREAT! They really put the time and $$$ in that place finally and it was not bad at all to play at. The fields themselves looked and played great. We got some heavy rains in the early afternoon (on and off) but the fields held up just fine. Rolf Park (other fields used) was rained out, but the LCRC complex kept going.

Just felt somebody should give a good word to them for all the abuse it took through the years (including from myself).
They said they were going to fix it up..........and they did!

Have her talk with Karen. We ran into that same problem from this spring when Aubs played down in Pigeon Forge and their red clay. There is something that takes most of it out.

Soak it in a bucket of warm water and Dishwasher soap, my DD had white pants last year LOL.

I agree to the props! The new crushed brick infields were top notch. The OF grass was cut down to about 1", and very fast. I was pleasantly suprised, and looking forward to going back.

I fill my utility sink with hot water and 1-2 scoops of Oxyclean and let it soak overnight. It typically works. If it needs a little boost, I'll add a cup of bleach to the tub of laundry. Good luck to Jackie getting it out.
