With my DD now only 4 years away from high school I figure I better start payng attention to what's going on in high school softball in the area.

What is everyone's view on how the conference is shaping up this year?

Windham-Moggy-Garrettsville

Springfield will be heavy favorite, while Field and Kent will be in mix. Crestwood has young group so dont count them out either.

Mogsoftball will your daughter attend Mogadore high school?

Yeah in another 4 years lol. She is a 5th grader right now, but she is already talking about playing for the high school team when she is old enough. She wants to start going and watching the high school girls play this year.

Went and watched Field play last night at Kent state. They beat Rittman and Hudson, Looked real good for beginning of season. Watched a little of norton, they too looked good.

I would be curious to hear how Rittman looked. Does Mogadore return their pitchers from last year?

I watched field play windham in spano dome this weekend. Windhams pitcher was real good. May possibly be the best pitcher field will face this year. Field played triway and Ndcl too. Ndcl has a good pitcher that throws hard, had a little trouble with control.
