Think Waterloo will be team to beat but you can't count out G-men.
I would think Jesse O'Bryan will help that team behind the plate if she will switch back to that spot from 3rd.
I have to go with Field ( because of dd ) but I think Woodridge could be pretty good this year . They got a good freshman pitcher coming in ,watched her at spano looks tough. also have a few seniors , put them in the right places and at the very least they will be spoilers for somebody.
Would agree with Field in Metro not sure about Woodridge in County think they need alot more thenjust a pitcher. I think they have good coaching just not enough skilled players. Hope I'm wrong always like to root for the underdog.
Also your right Dave Southeast is deep at pitching should bring them a great year if handled right ?
Not a new impact player but a impact player none the less. Was watching some varsity practice last night and Sam Lough from Crestwood is a Stud very nice player. Hit some bombs in batting practice. Only problem not much to go around her
Sam is a stud player, and yes, she can hit the ball a long ways.
Southeast is very deep at pitching with sr Shannon Hamilton and soph Kayla Williams. S.E also has a 3rd pitcher in Emily Gahagan that could be a starter at another school. Kayla should make herself known in the league very quick this year, she throws hard with good movement. Don't know if it will be enough to overcome Field in metro though. Waterloo should be queens of county with pitchers Alyssa Lang (sorry if misspelled) and Sarah Shields and a solid line-up. Amy, Woodridge pitcher, will also make herself known this year.
