Recruiting dead period extended by NCAA through August 31

Covid-19 continues to cause havoc for college coaches. The NCAA extended the dead period until August the 31st.

What's this mean?

A dead period precludes all in-person recruiting. Phone calls and correspondence can continue.

The 2021 kids that are not committed have really been stung by this along with the spring HS season being cancelled.

with this date being pushed back AGAIN and with many schools with last year seniors coming back for another season... how does this reflect on 2021's / 2022's trying to get looked at... i know college are asking for players to send them video and live stream games. Its been one crazy ass 2020 hasnt it... now a Sand storm from India coming... omg what else is gonna go on this year? SMH
