Return of the Slammers

I am very happy for these young ladies. After dropping off the softball grid for quite a while, a large portion of the ex-Slammers have joined forces again.

Now reunited, they have resurfaced as a Premier Girls Fastpitch & ASA Gold team out of Chicago, just having some fun and playing some ball. Good luck and continue to have fun.

You nailed it flarays. Heading to St Louis tomorrow for a gold exposure tourney, then off to the Sun Classic Gold tourney at Disney next week. After that, taking the holidays off, then on the road again.

Girls are pumped to be live on ESPN3.com next week. They have all worked very hard to get to this level. Could be a banner year for them. We can only get them to the diamonds, then it will be time for them to step up and knock the cover off the ball.

I know a lot of other Ohio girls are heading to St Louis. I'll keep everyone posted!

Not to single out any of these fine ladies but the girl second from the right is probably one of the best catcher's I have ever seen. She has her own style and plays extremely hard.

Good luck to all these young ladies.

any problem with someone stating who the girls are ?

Catcher is Erica Warren (2nd from right)
Outfielder is Cammie Prantle (3rd from left)
1st Base is Casey Burns (3rd from right)
SS is Jen Lilly (2nd from Left)

I'm sure someone else will know the other 3. Interesting thing about most of these girls is they are playing 18U Gold and I know they are all 16U eligible and the Lilly girl was playing 14U for Intensity just last season.

I do believe Burns and Prantle are already committed to D1 schools. I know Prantle lives in Central Ohio and has committed to OSU.

thanks for filling in the blanks ---Prantl's video from her 14u Nations with the slammers was the best edited, most profession, and quite simple the best I've even seen . She is a wonderful player, as are the rest of them MD

Girl is awesome. It will be a joy to watch her at the next level. Congratulations young lady, I am happy that all the hard work is paying off for you.

All the young ladies in the picture are very solid players and have a bright future ahead of them. I wish you all the best of luck at the next level. It was fun playing against you at 12u as you taught us all alot. Congratulations!!!!!!

with the other thread going on, is there any credit for big train here? just think of what a scout he would be. he found most of these when they were around 10 years old.

I know the player still has to work hard, but he taught a lot to these girls and instilled the fundamentals that they now show.

funny, the original post states that they were off the map. not really. many of these played with the lasers scarlett team and they were far from off the map.
