I guess Prantl had signed with OSU before she ever played in Chicago ?

I'm not knocking any of the girls for chasing that big D-1 dream , I just know that if more of our own stayed in ohio it opens doors for future stars . (and there are some serious stars out here at 14 and 15 ) some of the stigma that goes with " you need to play in chicago or jersey or georgia to be recruited by a top twenty program goes out the window MD

She has given a verbal commitment. She can't legally sign until after her junior year.

This post is turning into a good post about what it takes if a girl has aspirations of playing on a Top 20 Division 1 program. I wish all of the 10U and 12U parents would read this and get a real grasp on their DD's skills, DD's aspirations, and what path to take to reach those aspirations.

I think this is pretty impressive. Considering 80% of schools in the US are east of Mississippi, the below sample makes sense. Not sure that any team/org in the midwest can compare. Each school represents a player over the last couple of years (removed the player names, but can be found on their website).

First, don't misunderstand me. I think they do a great job at getting girls seen. I am just suggesting that there are programs here that do just as good a job. We could post just as an impressive list from the Lasers, Wolfpack or Ice.

You gave the list that says these girls are going to schools that are east of the Mississippi, and are for the most part, small D1 programs. You can get that by staying in Ohio. That's all I'm saying.

A good argument may be that the Bandits are going to play Premier. Not sure who in Ohio plans on playing Premier.

Anyone get to see these kids play on ESPN3 over the weekend. If so, what did you think? I believe there were 8-10 Ohio kids playing in Florida last weekend for Non-Ohio Teams.

Heard one of them impressed a D1 Coach enough, he verballed a full ride on the spot. Pretty cool. The process works, when you get out and get seen.
