ASA Tournament Rivershore & Sluggerfest

Does anyone know if Sluggerfest 14-U will happen this year? Is it beign moved to another location? Any information would help- we have this on our schedule but at this point can't find out any info.

It's on their website OP. 10-12-14 is June 4th - 6th and June 11-13. List of teams is on the site. I just came from it about 25 minutes ago.

June 4-6 14u teams = Indy Vipers, Indy Shockwave and Mountain Thunder are only teams entered.

June 11-13 is EMR 13u Barrett and NKY Bandits (lang) is the only teams entered.

16 and 18u divisions is on June 25th - 27th and July 2nd -4th.

I don't think I saw any 18u teams listed either tournament so far.. but both event dates had some 16u teams in it.

No.. you weren't blind. Not anything on the Rivershore website yet. I guess they must be waiting to update it. I came across it accidently myself looking for Kentucky softball websites on google. And then forgot what site I saw the info on...lol Then I found it again and was coming back to post what Musty already did...lol

Everything I saw at first was 2009. Somehow I stumbled across the 2010 page and I'm not sure how I found it. That's why I posted the link because I figured I would never find it again. Their web site is confusing.

Sluggerfest is on and it should be as big as ever. Patty has not updated the teams list since 12-28-09 so I am sure there will be allot to add. Sluggerfest has to be broken up due to the entire tournament being held at Rivershore. Instead of making each weekend one particular age group for four weekends, she is offering multiple age groups.

She did not put the 18th weekend on there due to the ASA Umpire convention they are doing. All of the Umpires will be evaluated that weekend at the Queen City 3 umpire showdown.

We decided to attend Sluggerfest on the new Independence day weekend and stay close to home. Hopefully, there will be a bunch of teams added when Patty updates the site.

Ah yes I remember the `08 tournament where a ton of drying agent was thrown down and they brought out the leaf blowers for the big puddles. Cant remember the name of the fields we were at that friday evening but it was on the west side of town. Might of been Rumpkee complex.
That was the year we played there, Rivershore and at some High school field for one game.

Also that was the weekend where the dang sacadia bugs were out in full force where we camp at that weekend on the east side of town.

Camping with Sacada's, that had to be fun. All games at Rivershore this year. Great Walking Taco's & Shade.

I know there are teams who have it on their schedule but are not showing on the list yet, my DD's team included. Sluggerfest will continue to be a great LOCAL tournament.

Does anyone know if they are dividing it into "A" and "B" teams for the separate weekends ? Looked at Sluggerfest II ( June 11-13 ) for the 10 - 14u and looks like all "B" that weekend.

The registration form has you select whether you want A or B divisions. Both weekends for the 10, 12 and 14u.
