Our first game is 10:45 am, and we are three hours away. No way can we get there , due to summer school in the am. We would have to leave at 0600 to get to our first game , while you have local teams playing a first game at 2:15PM, does that make sense?

Man I feel your pain. So far this year we have had an 8:00am start at ASA state. An 11:00am start today at the Lasers tournament. We have an 9:00am start next week at Sluggerfest, then three straight days of 8:00am starts at the Circle City Showcase. No love at all this season.

10:45 would be nice - we got a 9:00 AM game and are coming from North Columbus.

Last trip to this debacle - I can promise that...

After 8am Friday games last week at ASA States and today at Lasers caught a break sort of. 1st pool game is 4:00pm, but then 2nd game is 5:45 and we could play a 7:30pm bracket. 3 straight games without a break to start the tournament.

Did not play last Friday but had a 2hr and 45min drive so I left on Friday.

We play at 10:45am on Friday at Rivershore and I have to do about an hours work before I leave so...

4:45 up
6:00 at work
7:00 leave
9:10 arrive (according to mapquest but I will be fighting rush hour so who knows)
10:45 pool game
2:15 pool game
7:30 or 9:15 bracket game...

anniversary dinner with my wife after the game (she's coming down for Friday night and the day Saturday)

Then after all that.. we start again anywhere from 9:00am to 12:30 pm!

Buy a bottle of water, peel off the label. Your field number is printed on back of the label. The deeper you go in the tourney, the more water you will need to buy.

Sluggerfest I June 5th and 6th
Play will start on Friday if needed and based upon registration. Teams closest geographically will play first.


Sluggerfest II June 11th and 13th
Play will start on Friday if needed and based upon registration. Teams closest geographically will play first.


Sluggerfest III June 25th and 27th
Play will start Friday morning at 9:00 am..

What happened to ... Teams closest geographically will play first????

They dropped the ball for III and IV. You still should have teams closest play first. This is just common courtesy. I am a little dissappointed.
