Rules for dropping out of Tournament

I am new to this, but due to injuries we had to drop out of two tournaments, One this weekend and the other next weekend. I notified the tournament directors this past monday the 7/10. What is the general rule about getting a refund back from these tournament?

I concur with Lightning... Usually if there is a cancellation policy it is on the entry form or on the hosts website. If it is not in print you could be in for a fight, especially this close to the tourney. Good Luck!

sometimes if they find a replacement team will they send it back

Some will give you 80% back of what you paid. If you paid a deposit only then most likely you will not get a refund.

Some TD will just put you in the next years tournament if they can't find a replacement.

I think it just depends on your situation. If you have injuries with your team. Most will give a full refund.

Like the others said, most TD put the refund policy on the form.
