Running a tournament, have some questions.

Things went pretty well this weekend for our first run tournament. Again, only 8 teams, but pretty smooth. We had only one question raised. More of a question, not a challenge or complaint. Here is the situation:

Three teams finished 2-1
A had 11 RA
B had 14 RA
C had 32 RA

B beat A and A beat C. B and C never played each other.

The rules read as follows for seeding:

Determined by wins, head to head, RA then RD.

Now when we did the seeding we seeded A #2, B #3 C #4 (1 was 3-0)

Did we do it right? The teams were not mad. We all get along. They were actually happy with the seeding due to who played who on Sunday. My team made it to the finals and dropped a tough one to another very competitive team. Our girls did great but played there hearts out to a rival team in the semi's. I think the high of beating this team wore off quick and they did not recover in time for the finals.

You did it right in my book because it looks like you skipped head-to-head and used RA. Many tournaments stipulate head-to-head is only used if all the tied teams played each other. Consequently, it is rarely a factor when more than 2 teams are tied.

We did not stipulate, but it was in the back of our head. We figured if they all played each other then it would be different, a head ache all the same, but a different situation.
