This was our first experience playing at Rumpke Field in Cincy and I gotta say I wouldn't be upset if we never went back.

It still amazes that after all the money teams pay to play in tournaments, the tournament director will not line the batter's boxes. Especially on Sunday! Obviously, this post is because of a couple issues we had during our games, but we were not the only ones having issues because of this.

Also, no temperary fencing on any of the diamonds. Which, I'm not saying is always necessary, but when the park has no extra areas for teams to warm up, you would think that temp fencing on a few of the fields would be a no brainer.

Could go on about a couple other things as well. Needless to say, not impressed!

Disappointment is not even the word to describe it - no fencing was ridiculous! At the 16U level especially, players need to play on regulation fields with fences. We understand that this tournament was at 2 parks, but MAB had brand new fencing laying all around the park, and they just had it out the previous weekend for a tournament. Will not return!

Last time DD played at Rumpke was 3 years ago I think... The fields had about 4 inches of fine powder/dust on them. Second base actually got completely covered and we had a player that couldn't find the bag. Blue actually called her out as she was standing there looking dumbfounded and got tagged.
