I think that most of the colleges these days prefer a link to a video storage website, ie-youtube and many others out there.
The feedback we have received from coaches, they seem to like the opportunity to look at numerous videos at a single location than to sort through stacks of burned discs. We have made numerous videos and uploaded them onto youtube and send the links to coaches. The feedback we have received has been only positive.
The other good thing about youtube is they have something called "insight". It lets you know geographically where people are looking at your videos from. Lets say you send an email to a coach in oklahoma, you can track how many views of that video are coming from oklahoma. Gives you kind of an idea if there was any interest from that area. Also lets you know from the insight area, how the people that are viewing the videos, got to the video. Either from an email link, a search of you dd's name, or a redirect from a recruiting website if you use one. All in all a very efficient way of tracking your dd's college choices interest.
I need to get Cammis video view up so here are som links to her short game video

And heres her at bat videos

The last good thing is you get a running total of views of your dd's videos. If it has a low number of hits, might be a good idea to maybe modify it till you start getting some good interest.
