[Softball-CH] Softball Silenced in Doubleheader Loss
BENSENVILLE (Ill.) -- As a result of wet conditions that rendered Saint Xavier's home field unplayable, Tuesday's doubleheader against the Cougars was moved to Liberty Field, home of the Robert Morris University-Illinois softball program.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, their home field advantage never materialized and RMU was swept in back-to-back contests on Tuesday afternoon, with Robert Morris dropping the opener 5-0 before falling 15-1 in a run-rule shortened game two.
