HUNTINGTON, Ind. - Sophomore Rozlynn Everhart's walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh made for an impressive 6-5 come-from-behind win in the nightcap of the HU softball team's Crossroads League clash with Grace College Friday night.
Staring at a 5-2 deficit heading into their last at bat, the Foresters delivered with clutch hitting and savvy base-running to set the stage for Everhart's heroics. Sophia Beachy and Paige Eichelberger got things going with back-to-back singles. Jada Crofoot moved Beachy to third on a fielder's choice and then the pair took advantage of an errant throw as Beachy found home and Crofoot motored to second.
