COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Samantha Luckett hit a pair of home runs and Annabelle Ramirez hurled a complete game in a 2-1 eight-inning win over Saint Xavier (Ill.) today at the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round Columbia, Ky. Bracket at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
The top-seeded Blue Raiders (47-2) advance to the winner's bracket finals to face third-seeded Grand View (Iowa) at 11 a.m. CT on Tuesday. Fourth-seeded Saint Xavier (44-11) faces second-seeded USC Beaufort (S.C.) at 1:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday in the first elimination game of the day.
