COLUMBIA, Ky. – On May 13, 2019, Annabelle Ramirez and Samantha Luckett pushed the Blue Raiders to victory over Saint Xavier (Ill.) by a 2-1 final in their first game at the NAIA National Championship Opening Round at Marilyn D. Sparks Park.
Luckett hit a pair of home runs and Ramirez hurled a complete game in a 2-1 eight-inning win. Ramirez allowed just one run on four hits while striking out eight in her eight innings of work. She improved to 16-0 on the season with the win.
