After La Sierra scored twice in the top of the 6th inning to breathe life into a comeback rally, Marymount California ace DeAndria Lockett put down the Golden Eagles in order in the 7th to preserve a 6-4 win in the opening game of the California Pacific Conference Softball Championship in Redding, Calif. Lockett, the conference Pitcher of the Year, came on the 3rd in a 2-2 game to earn the win and help MCU advance into tomorrow's second round against the winner of the Simpson-Embry-Riddle 12:30 p.m. matchup.
