COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson softball team travels to Georgia to play Georgia Gwinnett and Reinhardt (Ga.) on Saturday and Sunday.
The Blue Raiders begin play against No.4 Georgia Gwinnett on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT and they conclude their weekend series at Reinhardt on Sunday, at Noon CT.
No. 8-ranked Lindsey Wilson softball (12-0) return to action after sweeping Indiana University- Southeast on Monday afternoon in New Albany, Indiana.
The Blue Raiders rank first in NAIA in Home Runs per game, averaging 1.83 while maintaining a .649 slugging percentage ranking first in the NAIA. Lindsey Wilson pitching is holding batters to .199 batting average while maintaining a 1.24 earned run average per game.
Jaydee Boursaw leads individual efforts ranking first in the NAIA in total Home Runs with nine this season. Callum Pilgrim leads the Mid-South Conference in batting average, batting.553 with 21 hits and 16 RBIs.
Annabelle Ramirez leads the team in pitching, with a 0.00 earned run average with only one hit on 14 innings pitched. Ramirez has recorded two complete game shut-outs with 17 strikeouts. Hannah Epperson adds in with a .28 earned run average on 25 innings pitched, adding 21 strikeouts and allowing only four runs.
