[Softball] Softball travels to Georgetown for MSC action

COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson softball team travels to Georgetown (Ky.) on Saturday, April 6 Noon CT for Mid-South Conference action.

Softball originally scheduled to play a doubleheader on Friday but with wet field conditions the game is postponed with a makeup date to be announced later this weekend.

The Blue Raiders (25-1, 8-0 MSC) returns to the dirt after defeating Midway (Ky.) 9-0 and 9-3 on Tuesday afternoon.

As a team, the Blue Raiders maintains a .511 batting average with a .580 slugging percentage to rank third in the NAIA in slugging percentage. Free bases have put Lindsey Wilson in scoring position with a total of 43 stolen bases. The Blue Raider bullpen is shutting down opposing batters with a total of 148 strikeouts in 169.2 innings pitched while holding opposing teams to a .201 batting average.

Callum Pilgrim leads the offensive efforts with a .511 batting average with seven home runs, 27 RBIs and the team leading 23 stolen bases.
