Takoma Park, MD- The Lady Shock opened the 2019 Season with a come from behind 9-5 victory over Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. Lincoln jumped out to the 2-0 lead in the 1st inning. The Lady Shock quickly tied the game up in the bottom of the 1st when senior Joslynn Carter smacked a double to left center scoring Raven Williams and Christine Mabry. Lincoln scored two more unearned runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning. The score remained 4-2 Lincoln until freshman Kassandra Espinosa collected her 1st hit and rbi with a two-out single to left field to score Lauren Perez in the bottom of the 4th.
