Spring Sports Senior Profile — Softball's Lauren Rockocy
MARIETTA, Ohio — Throughout the coming weeks, the Marietta College athletics department will be profiling our spring sports senior student-athletes who had their senior seasons cut short due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Our first senior is softball's Lauren Rockocy (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton). A four-year member of the program, Lauren has been a fixture in the Pioneers' starting lineup her entire career. She spent her first two seasons at third base before moving into the outfield her junior year. Lauren will be a three-rime Academic All-OAC honoree and finished her time in the Navy Blue and White with a .288 career batting average after leading the team in hitting this spring with a .348 average.
