starting travel ball player vs high school starter

Every travel player and every travel coach, and every high school or collegiate coach had to start somewhere.......I personally don't care if a player is a travel player, a rec player, or never have played the game at all...........if they tryout for the high school team and is one of the best nine........not just a token best nine but genuinely one of the best nine they deserve to play until someone better beats them out........but hey just my opinion.......being born at nite just however not last nite my common sense tells me that the travel player who understands that perfect practice makes perfect and does their homework and is part of a team who only plays the best tournaments possible will by accident be at a higher level than a rec player or someone who has not played.....for them to be passed over for a player of obvious lesser ability is a shame.......like I said just my opinion.

I have seen supposedly the best 9 on the field and there are some that are there consistently making the same errors, I am not talking in just games I am talking about multiple seasons where they still haven't learned how to field the ball or even which base to throw it to and yet they have not sat even an inning.
