So glad some of the "vets" jumped in...they are on the money! Having a thread "jacked" by some axes that need grinding is fairly common. Hope you can see past it because I pick up a lot of positive ideas on "The OFC"

I was part of the start-up of one those new organiztions 3 years ago and today it is alive and healthy. I believe it is less work to get started than to keep it growing...

Finding a treasurer that can care for the finances ,and is precise and trustworthy, is crucial.

Play I can tell you one that your coaches should take and they can do online. Go to NAYS.org and look for NYSCA. It covers how to handle the girls, the parents and situations you deal with mentally and physically. It does not cover how to play the game, but all of the other issues coaches deal with from learning challenged to safety of the kids.
