It's that time of year again. Invites have been sent. Who's in?

Please post your team's name and age group.

24 10u teams applied so they are all in. I imagine the teams in will be posted by the TD after they confirm.

Heartbreaker for our girls not getting in. We have several that have been there for the last 3 years. I know it is a tough job to sort out but we really thought our resume was as good if not better than any 03 team out there. We'll hope for next year.

I have an 04 daughter and saw your group a number of times last year. Your assessment of your team is right on, very good 03 team, right up there with any I saw. It's certainly not the end of the world. What I wanted to point out, though, is the class you show in your post about this. Kudos to you for making your point without tearing anyone down or complaining about the tournament leaders. Many of us could take a lesson from this, best of luck to you and your girls this year!

Typically the Stingrays do not take "young" teams in 12U and 14U unless you auto-qualified.

A top notch 11U team usually is not as good as a good 12U team. I have no doubt your team may be a top 10 12U team but typically it is the standard decision.

You of course can site cases where 11U teams made it but I would say typically you are not going to see more than 2-3 11U teams.

That is correct. Other than the Stingrays 02, I believe the only other 11U Teams that made it were Mason Thunder 02 and Lasers White 02. They were both loaded and did very well.

Right over here!
Spartasd- That Sundogs team won several big turneys last year and also finished in the top 10 at ASA/USA...... Other than winning stingrays (in 2014) not sure what else they needed to do... The Resume was indeed impressive.....

Was a very impressive list of teams interested going to be a great tournament. For the ones that made it in good luck. There def was a crazy number of entries in the 12 u division. Was some hard cuts there for sure. 50 plus entries. I

The 12U Cincy Slammers are heading to the PGF Midwest Showcase this year in Chicago, so will not be at the tournament, but intend to play in the future. I just saw the post for the Sun Dogs. I agree with the other posts, your team should have gotten in. You have a great team and good luck this season! You might want to check out the PGF Midwest Showcase in Chicago. The Beverly Bandits and Wasco Diamonds, who are the top teams in IL, are playing. We have never played them and hope to match up with them in pool or bracket play. Outside of the ASA Northern Nationals in St Louis, we've never played west of Indy. We are going to Chicago twice this year, U11 for Sparks and U12 with the Midwest Showcase. I can share our experience after we play those tournaments. Good luck to all the teams playing Stingrays.

Julie, that is awesome. There is no doubt your Team will be better from the experience. I saw one of your Girls at the Purdue Hitting Camp this past weekend. That Girl can rake!
