Revere looks like it may be the sleeper team this year.Last years soph. starting pitcher seems to be alot better.incomming freshman pitcher looks good.

Revere might be the sleeper, but after watching the team for the past 2 years they are much better off without the attitude that the center fielder brought. Not only was she always yelling at her teammates and parents, and anyone within earshot, but she was just distraction for her team.

I was at most of the the last two years my self and never did i witness this young lady yelling at her teammates or at parents. She was a very vocal and very pumped up player but never was she a distraction to the team,2 years ago they had a pitcher that was always yelling at her team mates maybe its just how they got teammates pump up to play ball.and 2 say they are better off without a girl that loves to play and to win that is very sad on your part as a parent. This girl loves to play softball and can't play do to she is graduating before the season starts.

I see Wadsworth, Tallmadge, Copley as the big 3 with Green nipping at their heels.

I just do not get it! Last year Green and Tallmadge tied for the Suburban League title, so why the comment: "Looks like Tallmadge will win the Suburban League again this year" when they did not win it outright last year.

Maybe because if you tied it's still winning it although shared? Sounds better than "we should win or tie for the title again this year"?

Obviously this site has a lot of Copley and Wadsworth fans on it, and very few Green ones. Suburban League Championship comes down to tomorrows Tallmadge - Green game. Green one the first one!

My prediction for next year is Green and Copley neck to neck.

If Tallmadge beats Green then the championship comes down to the Copley/Green regular season finale which Green will have to win to share the title.

If Green beats Tallmadge then case closed. Green will be champs. No shared title.

Not sure what Green has for 2010 but Copley will bring a strong Sophomore class to the table with one or two Freshman sprinkled in and some Juniors to complete the team.

Both Green and Tallmadge have 1 loss each with 2 games remaining. The winner of Monday's game would definitely be in the driver's seat.

If Green beats Tallmadge it does not matter if they then lose to Copley as they would have the same record as Tallmadge and would win the Title by beating Tallmadge both times they played them this year.

But, it will be very difficult to beat Tallmadge twice, let alone this time at Tallmages field.

I'm sorry, Tallmadge has won about 7 state titles in softball. I'm sure the Blue Devils have won a league title. The comment is my opinion.

Funny how that works. Saw a banner at Revere proclaiming "2007 Suburban League Champs". Pretty sure they shared that title with Tallmadge.
