The Batter?s Box Baseball & Softball Academy!
The Batter?s Box Baseball & Softball Academy located at 48 Klema Road in Reynoldsburg, Ohio conveniently located just off East Broad Street is pleased to announce registration is now open for the 2015-2016 Softball 6 on 6 season! This league provides players the ability to work on their game with live pitching and hitting on an infield with 60? base paths and a 75? x 80? infield. The League is open to softball players in the U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 age groups. We will have 8 spots available per age group, first come first serve. This will fill up and we can't gaurantee there will be any other slots open.

Game times will be as follows for each age group, please note that due to the way the weekends fall this year we will still be playing 12 games but one weekend in November will be doubleheaders for all teams above U10. They will play their 12th game on February 5th.
Please note the start time difference in January.

Age Game Times
10U 7:00 and 8:15
12U & 14U 9am, 10:15, 11:30 and 12:45 Saturdays
16U & HS 9am, 10:15, 11:30 and 12:45 Sundays
Please note that all games on Saturday and Sunday will move an hour earlier in January.


Age Groups will play the following dates:

U10 Start date November 6th. Final game is Feb. 5th

U12 & U14 Start Date Nov. 7th. Double Headers on Nov 14th. Final game Jan. 30th

U16 & U18 Start Date Nov. 8th DH on Nov. 22nd. Final game Jan 31.

Teams play one game per week and are permitted to show up in the facility one hour prior to game time for warm ups in the hitting tunnels and bullpen. Each game last 60 minutes and is officiated by an OHSAA umpire. Teams must consist of at least 6 players. The league is played on our two 75? x 80? permanent infields at The Box and is live pitching, catching and fielding. Balls are played off the nets.

Participation in the 6 on 6 league allows your team to have valuable live game situation playing for 12 weeks prior to the start of your spring season. Divide your team into two 6 on 6 teams and come join in the fun. December 25th-27th will be off for the holidays, January 1st-3rd are also off. Leagues will resume with the U10's on January 8th. Otherwise all other weekends are going to be scheduled and played.

Cost of the 12 week league is $1,100 per team. With the one hour of practice available to you prior to your game that is 24 hours of softball at less than $10 an hour per player. Once leagues reach a certain number teams will be wait listed so we can ensure equal teams in each league. Registration is open until October 24[SUP]th[/SUP]. Anybody looking for subs in the 14u thru 18u please pm me. My 14u pitched last year in the 16u an can play about anywhere on the feild except catcher an my 16u is a catcher that can play the corners also. They both play travel ball but there teams are not playing indoor. Thanks

Is there any particular reason that their team isn't playing this year? We're always looking to improve what we're offering.

No it has nothing to do with Battersbox. It is we have alot of girls that play basketball an other commitments during winter.
