Required to stay in batter?s box

I was in a tourney this past weekend and nothing was said the entire weekend. During the last game of the weekend they tried to impose the requirement of one foot in the batter?s box (exactly like MLB?s new rule to speed up the game). Just curious if anyone else has ran into this yet. We were at a USSSA tourney.

This might be new to MLB, but it's been a rule in ASA softball for years. It's a rule in high school baseball to, for that matter.

Is it a rule in USSSA? I'm not sure as I don't work that sanction. But their rule book is online and I could look it up in a minute.

EDIT: Looked it up. Don't see that rule in their book.
