We are looking for one more 18U team or strong 16U team to fill out our tournament.
* One 18U SPOT REMAINING - First Come, First Serve to any 16 or 18u team!!
** COST: $995 (payable when accepted into the tournament)
DETAILS: The Grind Tournament will be at the newly turfed and upgraded Firestone Stadium Main Field, Pony Field, and limited play at nearby Crystal Park. The 16U and 18U divisions will each consist of 8 teams who will play each other for the 7-game guarantee. The team with the best record or wins the tie-breaker is crowned champion of their division. Each game will be 80 minutes finish the inning, weather permitting.
HOW TO REGISTER: Coaches may register on Tourney Machine: “The Grind @ Firestone” or via email to: thegrindakron@yahoo.com.
PLEASE INCLUDE: 1) Team name and age, 2) Coach’s name, email and phone number
**COLLEGE SHOWCASE CAMP** In addition to the tournament, Softball at the Point ran by legendary coach Julie Jones will be run a college showcase camp on Thursday, June 27 at Firestone Stadium. Coach Jones is well-known for running great college camps that draw numerous college coaches to run the camps and interact constantly with the players. Coach Jones has already received numerous college coach commitments to participate in The Grind Showcase Camp. More information on her camp is at: www.softballatthepoint.com
