Yeah...Uecker had heart issues but I think he's fine now. He's one of my favorite announcers. He was great in the Major League trilogy, and who can forget (those of us that are old enough) his famous Miller Lite commercial line, "I must be in the front row!", only to be put in the nose-bleed seats. Bob's awesome!

is your daughter playing slowpitch--if you lived in beavercreek, we would sign her up to play in our youth coed league--last year in the 9th/10th grade league we had 12 teams in the 11/12th grade league we had 17 teams. WE have had quite a few girls play both fastpitch and slowpitch at the same time. They like both games but get to be around the boys in the slowpitch league. A couple of girls who have been very successful at this are Ashlee Skinner and Erib Chapman ( I don't know if this is still the case but as of a couple of years ago, she was the all time home run leader at Ohio U).
