I see this this a lot at the parks and it seems to be at the younger age groups the most.

Usually a reflection of the coach. Parents do what they are allowed to do.

I'm saying that if the coach allows it to go on it will. When you pick a team, you also pick parents.

I'm saying that if the coach allows it to go on it will. When you pick a team, you also pick parents. This seems mild compared to some of the things I've seen at the younger ages. Have also seen coaches step up and tell the parents to shut their mouths and let him/her coach and let the girls play.

Played by 8 year olds. Watch the parent and listen to the comments. If you are similar to these parents, now you can see how stupid you look and why your daughters no longer want to play by the age of ten.

That's lame compared to some of the things I've seen over the past 18 years or so. It gets much worse Apogee.....even at coach pitch.....and don't even get me started about baseball.

I've seen worse, too! This video, is a good reminder, of how not to behave at games, as parents.

As far as coaches, we've had a coach, I feel, "nudged" the parents to give the ump a hard time, and a coach, after a tournament, send a polite email reminder about, "appropriate parent behavior". As a parent, I will admit, perhaps I'm not always an angel! But, I try, and the parent section can, upon occasion, get the "group think" thing going on and grow very loud. But, I believe, the behavior of the team's parents is sometimes/most of the time, set by the coaches.
