Pitching tryouts for Tigerlillies 14U - looking for a strong pitcher who would like to be a part of an athletic team for the 2014 season. We are also counting on this pitcher to help us in the outfield and/or infield.

Currently part of a fall league and will be doing a fall tournament (either weekend of 10/19 or 10/26).
Spano practices and games will start in Jan - end in the April time frame.
Tournament season will start in May - ending in July.
Planning on completing our season with a trip to Nationals at the end of July.

Team fees are $650 for the year.

Please contact me if your daughter is interested in coming to a practice for a try out.

Once again I ask who are the coaches for this team? Do you have someone who works with the pitchers? Thanks.

Thanks for the update. Not a big fan of the head coach. Question her motives. I have been told her daughter plays for another team at the same age level. That seems weird and a conflict of interest. Please tell me this information is wrong.

Not sure why you would say you are not a fan since I don't think I even know you. Or maybe I do - and if so, then maybe we should talk face to face to figure out where the disconnect is or why the reason you felt your post was necessary. I am open for conversation.

As for my daughter, I have been upfront with every family about the situation. Yes - my daughter is playing for another team because it is time for her to grow from other experiences outside of her parents. She's been under my wings since 8U. Time for her to see the game from a new angle...

And me - I LOVE TO COACH - I love to teach - I love to work with kids - I love to make a difference. I was the head coach for the Tigerlillies 12U team last season - and the girls had a great season - qualifying for the Worlds Series as a "no tournament experience" type team. As most coaches will tell you - there is a HUGE satisfaction in working with kids and seeing them succeed. So I'm here to stay as a coach - no matter where my daughter's journey leads her. I am her #1 fan - and she is mine. That is why being on 2 different teams will be work out fine in our family.

If you have a daughter that pitches I welcome her to a try out. If you don't - then I assume no further posts are necessary.
Thanks.
Kim

I came on this thread to moderate a complaint. I think Kimberlym42 stated their case very well and it make a whole lot of sense to me. Whatever the intent of softballneo was... it was refuted and masterfully explained by her Kimberlym42s reply. There are a lot of coaches that are stigmatized by having their daughter on their team. Kimberlym42 will not have to face this. Kudos to you! Softballneo, if you have a personal vendetta... talk to or IM Kimberlym42 before you express your "concerns" on this site.

softballneo,
I'm only responding to this post once, with that being said I find It Interesting that you reposted your request a few times waiting for a response so you can make comments about a team's coach who you claim not to know, this seems a bit arbitrary.
If you know who the Tigerlillies are then you know who the coach of this team Is, If you know she has a daughter who plays for another organization then you know who the coach Is.
I think this attack Is something personal.
I think Kim Is an awesome coach who teaches these young ladies with praise and positive reinforcement, she Is upfront and honest and she wants her team to work hard so they can succeed.
I see her love for coaching when her daughter chooses to challenge herself by attending tryouts with other teams, and Kim allowing her to persue her dreams and goals and yet remaining completely dedicated to her own team.
I think Kim, Rob and Joe are great coaches and parents of fine character and I'm glad my daughter has the opportunity to learn how play at a high level and conduct herself on and off the field with the same values they teach there own daughters.
