Rossford has made some improvements from last year. They have beaten Wauseon also and a Springfield parent told me they played them well also.
Northview losing in 8 to SUA, and Whitmer winning over Perrysburg despite being no hit by Quimby through 9, had to be great games to watch.
Despite which league wins, this is a great event for spectators at a quality facility. A very smart decision to have these games held on 200' fenced fields.

With all the pre-event chatter, I thought Saturday's games would spark some conversations, Maybe next year we just all meet at Ralphies afterwards,...I'll cover the wings!!!

hats off to the nll/tcl on some great softball on saturday. great game between clay and springfield and the whitmer pburg was a good one too. thought the pitching was outstanding by most teams.

I think the blade should have made this event a feature in the Sunday sports page. They are missing the boat on this one. This was a great event and deserves attention. Had this been a football or basketball event, the blade would have been all over it. I didn't watch any of the local news stations, but did they cover it? I did see Dan Cummings at the park, but I didn't see Ch.11. I think the comish's from each league need to reach out to the media for coverage and advertisment. Why aren't the local colleges send a scout to see this. There are a number of good players in NWO. Great job again from BCSN, I just wish they would have shown 4 games vs just two.

Great event, can't wait for next year.
