I havent recieved anything either although Global sports has been contacted and were seriously looking into it as the blowout was done under the Global Sports banner and theyre upset that this is affecting them in a negative way! Supposedly they are also looking for Tim! What really upsets me is I honestly thout this man was in it for the girls but obviosly he is no more than a crook that steals from young girls!!!

WOW! been reading and following this and the other posts about this tournament. We actually got paid our 1 st place $$ day of the event. I guess we are one of the lucky few that actually received the prize money but this is unbeleivable! Does anyone know for sure if this guy is still alive? To disappear over a few grand ?... seems very strange. nobody on OFC knows this guy personally who can maybe shed some lite on this? I hope he comes out of the woodwork and pays up. this is really sad ---- :(

A few grand? Lets see 32 teams at $350 each equals $11,200 even if he payed a few teams on site looks like he made off with close to $10,000!!!!!!!

I am not a Tim Cleaver fan, but all this seems so unlike him. There has to be a reason for this behavior and hopefully the reason will be revealed. No matter what, he has lost all credibility with the fast pitch community.

As for Global Sports being upset with him, they should be more upset with themselves for signing him up as State Director. They should have known his track record with ASA, USSSA, NSA, NAFA, etc.

We were going to sign up for a GSA 2012 tourny in Dover, then I saw some of the TD's posts...NOPE! We'll stick with ASA or NSA. But this will probably stop GSA before it gets started unfortunately. You gotta have good character as a leader of any organization.

12u Pitcher,

I read his posts and it sure seems like he was losing it toward the end--the whole mess is very unfortunate for everyone in fastpitch and I know it hits the teams who thought they would have their prizes by now the hardest. I hope he can at least get the teams the prize money soon and get that cleared up.

I agree TD..... anyone who has to post that many times trying to show how he is "for the girls" is trying way too hard. Actions will show what is in the heart.

His wife was answering the phone, at least for the first few times people were calling. He just wasn't home. Now they don't answer the phone. He's alive but avoiding those he owes. It's a sad mess.

He has a tournament listed in the tournament section for June 2012 in Dover Ohio. Anyone going? :D

He owes us money also from the Dover tournament( Ashland Blaze). Please keep this thread open and updated. I also have left several text, email and phone messages over the past weeks. Does anyone know what town or city he even lives in? Tried to google his name and nothing really comes up.

I know his actual full name & know the area in which he lives. Won't post either publicly, so anyone has reason to close this thread.

But if anyone has his actual address from sending or receiving info or however you have it - Send it to me im a PM & I will go by & see what is going on!!!!!!

I would really like to see a happy conclusion for all those involved.............

He has posted on OFC that he lives in Goshen so it shouldn't be a problem posting it again. Goshen is just outside Cincinnati on the east by Milford. Anyone that mailed tournament registrations should have an address. Not sure what good it would do.

If he planned to make good his commitments I think those he owes would have heard from him even if it was to say it will take awhile. The fact that his wife went from taking messages for him to not answering the phone and he disappeared from OFC says he has no plans and is skipping out.

Just don't understand it.

I'm aware it is on the east side of town. But I need an actual address.........

Global Sports Authority(tournament ruling body) or Tim Cleaver(GSA's Ohio representative) owe $200 to Cyclone Fastpitch 16U for a runnerup finish at a GSA sanctioned event in Dover. Payment was due to us and others in a "timely manner". A "timely manner" by my estimation is 30 days. A judges "timely manner" is a lot longer. None of our organizations are going to "go under" due to this "delay of payment" or "lack of payment" however it is our money and we should proceed with a collection process. This process might take months so lets "make a good first move". I propose we list what is owed to each organization and send one letter with all of our info in a "demand for payment" via certified mail to Mr Cleaver and GSA.
This collection method costs us nothing but stamps. It gets us organized and with a single goal( to get everyone 100% paid).
If this method doesnt achieve the desired result Im sure there are Attorneys in our midst.

Before you go calling attention to your 16U team, I would suggest looking at this thread:
