I am Shawn Smith, and I am the Director of Athletic Communications at the University of Minnesota Crookston. As often happens this time of year, I travel with one of the teams on their spring trip. This year is no exception as I went to the "Sunshine State" with the Golden Eagle softball team. Some might say, 'Lucky you, you get to go to Florida.' It is true, a trip to Florida is great during the Minnesota winter, but a lot of work does go into providing live stats, taking pictures, and providing social media updates. It is a great time and I am happy to be providing content to the supporters of the program.
