Tryout question

How long does it take to find out whether or not your daughter made a team? My daughter is 10U and looking to tryout for some teams as a pitcher. She has tournament experience and loved every minute of it.

that's team dependent. Some immediate. some say wait a week, some email you, some want you to come back for another team workout, some want another private. Ask before you leave is my best set of advice.

Heck, some coaches know right away if they can use you on their roster or not. So yeah, I'd say anywhere from immeditely to 1-2 weeks, depending on how many tryout sessions a given team holds and how many players try out.

She is right, i would try out for multiple teams to find the one that is just right

You will know sometimes the 1st one is the right one and your done sometimes you have to keep looking. I will say if your happy after 1 and get offered take it.
We will let some kids know before they leave others 24hrs up till 24hrs after last tryout.

Best advice is to have a list of teams you want to tryout for and go to all of them. Don't let a team string you along and tell you" we like what we see but please come back next week". If they don't like what they see the first time, then the only thing is they want to see if they can find some one else that might be better, if not, they have you on a hook. If you get the call from a team you like, then stop looking and give them 100% of your time and effort!!!
