umpire help on third

My question is about getting plate help for a runner stealing third to get the play right. On first, we see the throw-catch and foot coming down from most angles. On second, the angle of view is tweaked and far away and the best guess will be the base blue. On third, when runner is stealing from second, the blue is left back behind the runner,as the runner is a 12 year old track star. The blue was leaving second on the pitch,as is the runner but runner is sliding into third as the blue got four steps off second. The blue can only see the back of runner going down into the slide into third and makes the call "their best guess". They clearly cannot see the runners feet slide into third because they are behind the runner and out of position. The blue would need to start the play 1/2 to 3/4 the way to third to get position to see the feet slide and "throw from catcher" tag. The plate umpire has a clear view. We clearly see a bad call and ask for time and ask for help on the play from the plate ump.The plate ump. throws his hands up and says"not my call". The plate ump clearly has the angle to view feet going under tag even from the distance in most cases. The angle is perfect. I feel the plate ump should be involved in this play,go out and speak to the other ump and get it right. They let the base umpire call a check swing and the plate ump is 4 feet away. I sometimes yell out to my players to move over a few steps, shall I call time and tell the blue "hey blue, your out of position to make a call at third, the track star is only gonna let you only see the back of her helmet, your gonna have to get out of good second base position and immediatly go to third".We don't have instant replay but we do have a plate ump.with eyes to get the play right. We have had our players make errors and we still win, we have had this bad third base call made many times and still won by run-rule. This just happened in the winners finals in a low score game in bottom of 7th result was loss.I just want the plate umpire to be honest and forthcoming to get the play right as it is clearly a best guess when the base ump can't keep up with the runner. Please get together and confir what was seen and what was blocked. For the plate ump to say "not my call" to the base ump that could not clearly see but has to make a call regardless!

First of all the field ump made the call and you went to the plate ump for help. You should have first called time and asked the field ump if he would ask the plate ump if he may have seen something different. Now he can ask the plate ump or say no I saw what I saw and thats it. But you have to ask the right person the first time or you not even going to have a chance at changed call. If the appeal or question is asked correctly I almost all the time ask my partner what he saw.

Hope that helps your answer to your question.
