Ohio USSSA - "Troy Double-Play Finale" - July 9-10, 2016
USSSA - 2016 National Championship Qualifier (NCQ) for Class B/C - 10u & 12u teams.
Paul G. Duke Park - Troy 45373. This event will be Leg Two of the Troy Double-Play Challenge Series. Preferred format is 3 games seeding into single-elimination bracket play. There is a $50-per-event discount to teams that enter both events together. Deposits can be used to hold spots.

USSSA - 2016 qualifying event open to 10u/12u classified as USSSA B or C. Top 2 teams will pick up berths to the National Championships. National Championship locations are listed here: 2016 USSSA National Championships link.

USSSA does offer "odd year" age classes. Teams that classify as odd year (9/11/13/15) must have all girls with the same birth year or younger. If more than 2 odd year teams participate in a traditional age group bracket, there will be a odd year WS berth offered to the highest finishing team. If we can get enough to create separate pool play, than we will group those teams in the odd year pool. Teams will be placed in traditional bracket play to determine a tournament champion. This year the USSSA Great Lakes - "Odd Year" National Championships are in Marion, OH the week of July 13-17, 2016.

Entry fee is $400 plus $35 USSSA 2016 sanction fee if not already sanctioned. If you need to sanction, please click here: USSSA Team Sanction Info. TEAMS CAN ENTER WHILE THEIR SANCTION IS PENDING. We will take $100 deposits to hold spots. This event fills fast, so get your info in quickly.

REMINDER: Coach/Manager MUST CHECK in Prior to your first GAME with Official USSSA Online Roster and Insurance Certificate. Please bring a copy of Roster & Insurance FOR EVERY USSSA EVENT THAT YOU PARTICIPATE IN, to leave with the Tournament Director. Event check-in will be to the right of the concession stand. This is also where game updates will be posted along with tournament staff to assist.

ROSTER: PLEASE FILL OUT THE USSSA ONLINE ROSTER IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO.
All teams MUST have an Official USSSA ONLINE roster, filled out, and printed with player and parents signatures. BRING A SIGNED COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. THIS COPY of the SIGNED ONLINE ROSTER WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate without it.

INSURANCE: All teams must have "TEAM INSURANCE CERTIFICATE" with amounts of coverage. BRING A COPY TO LEAVE AT TOURNAMENT SITE. We cannot accept the individual player insurance cards. IF you have individual insurance cards, you will need to contact the insurance company to attain a certificate. THE COPY of the INSURANCE CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU. Teams will not be allowed to participate with it.

BATS: Only USSSA approved bats will be allowed. Bats must have the 2012 USSSA silkscreen on them. Bats without that logo are not permitted to be used. Note: It is the coaches/players' responsibility to check their bat(s) prior to bringing them into play. Penalty: Player is declared an OUT - PLAYER AND COACH are EJECTED FROM THE GAME.
It is the coach/managers responsibility to know the rules and bylaws of USSSA. METAL CLEATS are only permitted for age groups 13u and older. Ignorance of a rule or bylaw does not negate the penalty. USSSA rule book is available online 24/7 at USSSA 2015/16 Online Rulebook.

Weather update information during the event will be provided by the onsite tournament director and the USSSA online system. Texting charges may apply.
We use the USSSA system to send out alerts and updates. Please make sure that your coaching staff info has been loaded to the system. A good rule of thumb is to also list for your players their parent's emails and cell phones if you choose. I send updates to coaches and players and this can make life easier for you to get information out quickly.
