We have added a USSSA Tournament in our area on June 24-25th, 2006. ?Games will be played in Burton and surrounding communities. ?This will be our first USSSA tournament as we host our 6th Annual NSA Qualifier earlier in June. ?
MAPLE LEAF - USSSA ? ?Cost $320 ?($300 if you play in the 2006 Maple Leaf NSA tournament).
4 game minimum - Pool to single elimination
2 umpires per game as per USSSA rules
80 Minute game minimum (Unless run ruled)
No game starts before 8:30am - No night games
Concessions available at most fields or nearby fast food restaurants.
Admission donations are accepted, but not required. ?Proceeds go to local youth softball & baseball programs.
AGE GROUPS 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U & 18U
8 teams maximum per gae group (unless we do not fill an age group we can transfer slots to another.)
One "A" and one "B" berth awarded per age group. ?Winner gets first choice. ? ?USSSA also offers berths to "odd year" tournament teams, i.e. 11U, 13U and 15U. ?if you are a team that fits this criteria you can play in the "odd year" age tournament ?or if your a strong team at 10U and want to go to 11U tournament of USSSA, this would seem to fit.
