USSSA Smashing Pumpkin Tournament - Maumee, Ohio

Mother nature tried to interfere with the USSSA Smashing Pumpkin Tournament hosted this weekend at the Lucas County Recreation Center in Maumee, Ohio. Her attempt failed!! The Saturday action at the 10U level was reduced from 3 to 2 poll play games and then teams were placed into a championship game or consolation game. The 4 teams in the 10U division were the Heat, Magic, Wizards Gold, and Wizards Young Guns. The championship game, under the lights, pitted the Wizards Gold v. Wizards Young Guns. Wizard Young Guns played a fantastic game and earned a 3-0 victory. The victory earned the Young Guns the tournament championship and the opportunity to smash the Wizards Gold's pumpkin. GREAT JOB YOUNG GUNS!!!
