AGE BRACKETS: 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U
8 TEAMS PER DIVISION
2 UMPIRES PER GAME (1 FOR 8U GAMES)
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS TO 1st & 2nd PLACE

4 game guarantee (8U ? 3 game guarantee)
All pool games are 1 hour 20 minutes or 7 innings
Championship games are 7 innings
No parking or admission fees

Tournament Cost is $400.00 (8U - $250)
No refunds after May 25 unless a replacement team can be found
Applications will be accepted in the order they are received

Tournament Format:
3 pool games (Friday & Saturday) with single elimination starting Sunday
Some teams will be scheduled Friday night at 5:30 or 7:00pm

Location: Viking Fields are located at 13695 Lockbourne Eastern Rd. Ashville, Ohio 43103

Rain policy: Should the fields be unplayable or become unplayable, we will make every attempt to complete the tournament by modifying the format. Options include shortening game times, eliminating pool play games or moving all games to the following day. Cancellation of the tournament is the last resort. In the event that the tournament is cancelled, teams will be refunded on a pro-rated basis (based on a 4 game guarantee) less any unrecoverable expenses incurred (trophies, t-shirts, advertising, etc) or offer reduced fees for next year?s tournament.

Hello Everyone,

I want everyone out there to know that we want this tournament to be a great experience. It is not about money for us. I have coached for 8 years and have been to many great and not so great tournaments. I want to incorpoarate all the good things and eliminate all the bad things. We wiill rake and line fields between games (including batters boxes) 2 umpires for each game 10U-16U (8u will have for championship), etc. Rules will be pretty much straight forward ASA but you will bat roster during pool play. If you have any other suggestion of what to add/avoid, feel free to post.

Sounds like a great tournament. I don't know how fun it would be for tourney operators but skills competition is fun for the girls.(especially younger ages)
