Need 1 more 8U team. Teams entered were updated today. May 25 is when all final payments are due. i will have schedule out in the very near future. Good luck this summer.
We are looking forward to a great weekend! You guys have done an amazing job organizing your very first tournament. Thanks for all the great (And proactive!) information.
Thanks to Viking Elite and everyone at the ralley in the alley the best tournament by far for the 8 u. The umpire was great thank you from the Lancaster Pride.
A great big Thank You from Dirt Dawgs 10u. It was very obvious the amount of thought and effort that was put into this tournament to make it one of the best we've ever attended! The entire Vikings organization is full of top notch people - we can't wait to return next year.
Huge thanks from New Albany to Chad and the entire Vikings Elite organization for one of the best organized, friendliest tournaments we've ever attended. Thank you!
Personally - I thought the 10U brackets left a little to be desired. It really didn't make sense. Our team played 3 pool play games and were the #1 seed in their pool. However, one of the teams we played in pool play was also a #1 seed for their pool (I thought you normally on played teams from your pool in pool play??). Then - got to bracket play and played 2 of the same teams we played in pool play. This should not happen when there are 12 teams in a division. Congrats to the Thunderchix for taking the win. They are a very talented and well coached team who played well all weekend.
Thank you for all the compliments. I had alot of great help from the coaches & parents within our organization. I understand and take responsibilty for the mess up on the brackets. All I can do is apologize at this point. I hope that all enjoyed the atmosphere and thought the facilities were sufficient. Feel free to post anything you would lile to change and our committee will look at it.
The tournament director had the opportunity to fix his 10U bracket play error and made the conscious choice not too. Allowing team coaches to decide who they wanted to play when the error was revealed is equally disheartening. Aren't we trying to teach our daughters that integrity and honesty are more important than a "W"? In the future, I would hope that mistakes are corrected while it still mattered. On a positive note, the fields were awesome. The parent volunteers were great. Congratulations to the Thunder Chix! They played outstanding ball.
