It's a moot point.

Anybody who considers themselves a "coach" will say players. Everybody else will say coaches.

I would say good coaches because they take so much **** from all sides and they still stick through it. A good coach is worth their weight in gold.

Players get catered to especially if Mommy or Daddy thinks their child is a prima donna.

I feel that a good coach is much harder to find. That is exactly why after 17 years we are consistently at 5 teams. Sure we could grow, but at what cost to the kids. If you have good coaches you do not need to look for stud players, they will make them.

I look forward to the day that I can begin coaching again, it is coming very soon.

There are so many travel teams anymore it seems there are a shortage of good players. It seems most teams have a couple of great players, a couple of good players and the balance of the team are average. It really takes a great coaching staff and many, many hours of hard work to stack up the wins.

As someone who is growing a program it is coaches for sure. Especially female coaches. My wife feels it is her job to try to "develop" coaches (male or female) and trying to get people is very difficult. We have 5 teams and I think only have 3 really good coaches.

The rest of us are plodding along.......LOL

A good coach can develop players. And there are a TON of girls who want to learn and play.

Very good coaches are harder to find than "Stud" players. I would even put college coaches in that ring also. JMO

I say it's harder to find good coaches. There are good players all over the state.

Not frowning on myself but I've got 3,4 and 5 year veteran players I coach and would LOVE to find a better coach than me for the girls!

I guess it could go both ways. Athletic players with the ability and desire to learn the game are hard to come by. Talented coaches with the ability and desire to teach the game are also rare. I give the edge to it being harder to find coaches though.
