If its Hall Of Fame tourny get ready for some good competition. It has the feel and look of nationals but on a slightly smaller scale. Do your kids a favor and hydrate early it gets hot while that tourny is going. Also pack rain gear. the weather can go from hot to storm in a seconds notice there. Have fun.

?ber,

Check with Jeff Steiner from Thunder Elite '00. They are going there this year. Lenos' Hawks went there a few years back.

Take the time to go visit the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial. It may not be the thing to do for your 12u kids, but its an experience that puts a lot of things into prespective.

Drink lots of fluid too.

This may not be the most convenient but we save about $200 per ticket flying into Dallas then driving to OKC.

I remember Kavin stating the teams are very good, few mistakes, and good at pressure. Won't be many mistakes made and most teams are top notch. Pitching was "Nationals like" and a great experience.

Get there early and catch the finals of the WCWS. Hit the batting cages between the end of the WCWS and HOF. We picked up a game this way by talking to a coach there and played his local team.

Strongly encourage the families to go to the OKC National Memorial even the young kids get a lot out of it.

Book your hotel rooms now (that you can cancel if you don't go)- we booked the downtown area closer to non-softball action - we could then walk to a lot of activities.
