I have no idea what I would do but some food for thought.
I let my 12U catcher and pitcher call games at times. Especially in the Fall and against teams we were much better than.
At 14U my catchers and pitchers know that I like the game to keep moving so if I am not on the bucket due to other reasons they are to get calling the game.
At the end of the day the players play. A 16U pitcher that has any D1 colleges looking at her (any D1 team, remember we are talking about 300-total pitchers in the country pitch at that level) she does not "need" Daddy calling pitches. He just wants/needs to be involved.
I would advise him that she is welcome on the team but that the pitchers and catchers call most games and that when in doubt I call the pitches. NO way after thinking about this do I allow any pitchers Dad at this level to be calling pitches. It is just ridiculous.
