I had a girl miss to go watch her older brother play in the state baseball finals, I told the dad it was a once in a lifetime experience and they should enjoy it as a family. I also have had a kid miss so they could show animals at the fair. That one I was not so crazy about. I think as a coach you have to look at each request independently, I think softball comes in 3rd behind God and Family but always above farm animals. LOL
