ASA/USA A Nationals in Hemet California. Won first 3 and just lost heart-breaker 2-1 to fall into loser's bracket.

Up the middle (catcher, pitcher and CF) are all going to OSU.

It is great to see OSU looking in Ohio. Would not want to have Coach K's job but it is cool to see she is still checking out the home grown. She will have to do more than that to be a contender, I'm sure, but maybe in a few years we can give her enough from Ohio to make her job easier. They sure know about the weather 
Best of luck to Lasers Aqua. For some reason 18u gets lost in the mix. I'm thinking it is because the players already know how good they are. And if they are going to OSU, all the more reason to chill out at ASA USA. Still they deserve our recognition in their representation of Ohio fastpitch.

Lasers Aqua bowed out this afternoon after 5 straight wins in the losers bracket. We finished the week 8-2, which was good for 9th place (out of about 100 teams).
Ohio represented well - the Lasers beat 7 teams from California and the Sun Dogs also played very well, particularly considering the injuries that had to overcome.
