Who was/is Crystl Bustos hitting coach, or takes credit for her hitting ability? Has her swing changed over the years from one style to another?

Your kid will only become as good a hitter as he/she has the desire to become. If mom & dad have little interest in helping, don't expect miracles when they get to high school, and struggle. IMO, a high school team coach does not have the time to teach 20 kids the finer principles of hitting. Regardless, every spring you hear parents blaming the high school coach because Jenny can't hit the broad side of a barn!
