The Whitehall-Yearling High School softball program will be hosting the 1st Annual Whitehall Fall Classic ASA Eastern National Qualifier Sept 28-29, 2013.

Event will be held at John Bishop Park in Whitehall with 6 fenced diamonds.

Age groups 10u, 12u and 14u.

Awards to 1st and 2nd..ASA Eastern Bid for 2014 to 1st place team.

Cost is $400.

I have had a bunch of teams express interest but only a few commitments so far. Expect entries to start picking up now that tryouts are over. Hope to fill this up. Great cause in support of our High School program. TD with 10 years experience running tournaments. Great facility with 6 fenced diamonds. Buckeyes play at 8:00pm that Saturday. ASA Eastern bid. Still good weather before the October chill. What more could you want? I will get a list posted soon.

Lots of inquires but need people to start getting entries in. Only list teams that have made some sort of commitment. We will accept deposits to reserve spots as realize teams are just collectiing fees. Email ba43230@yahoo.com for entry blank and return. Even though have had lots of interest official entries very slow. We are going to give it one more week till Wed Sept 11. If you want in and would like to support our event and High School program please get your entry into me this week. If not we will have to move on and let the few teams entered have time to make other plans.

We will go with tournament and award the ASA Eastern berth with 4 teams in an age group. So just need 1 more 14u and couple 12u teams. 10u always come late.
