Re: Who are the returning strong teams in Central
D3 should be as competitive as ever with Lakewood moving down. Look for them to challenge Bloom Carrol. I also like Marion Pleasant, Liberty Union, and Johnstown to be in the mix. And don't count out Bishop Ready.
I think Teays Valley moves up from D2, and with Lakewood down to D3, DeSales has a good year to be "young", but not out - and they have a bumber crop from travel ball in the 8th grade. Circleville will come from another district - so Licking Valley ?
Grove City is my pick for D1 and maybe tops in Central Ohio. Pitching returns with a power hitter, a move in, some key players from last year, plus a couple freshman who will contribute immediately.
Westerville South and Westerville Central, Thomas Worthington, Mt. Vernon, Teays Valley, and Upper Arlington are my initial choices to lead the pack in another year of deeeeeppppp D1.
