Alyssa Patznick of Lakewood H.S. and the Ohio Stingrays has decided to pursue her degree in nursing and softball career at Capital University. A great addition for Capital.

Haley Gwin (Troy) Haley signed with Rio Grande. She is a solid Center fielder with a great bat. She is a leader on and off the field.

Brandis Fishel P/OF Gahanna Lincoln signed with Ohio Dominican University...Had the true pleasure of coaching her for 7 years and watched her grow up not only as a player but into a wonderful young lady. Very proud of and happy for her.

Another GWOC player commits to play at the next level...KeyAnna S. from Fairborn to Capital University in Columbus...that Fairborn team will need to start spotting points with all those college players!!

Thanks Todd for the correction on the signing , KeyAnna took back her verbal to Point park university and has a full commit to Capital University. She thuoght long and hard and this was the right choice for her. We as parents are very proud of the adult decision this "NUGGET" has made in regard to her future. GO CAP!!!!

Megan Van Almsick has decided to attend THE Ohio State University. She will not be playing college softball.

I know it was a difficult decision for her to choose not to continue playing softball let alone deciding which college she thought would be right for her to pursue her career goals.

I am very proud of her. I know that she is way ahead of the college game than I was at this stage.

Go Megan, Go!!!

Commendable decision and 1 I know could have been reversed. She is one heck of a ball player and seems like a good kid.

Stingrays lost a good one when she decided not to play last summer.

I'm seriously NOT going to miss seeing her in league play.
